Outside my window…
Oh beautiful sunny morning! The sky is a clear beautiful powder blue with not a cloud in sight, the sun is shining downs and falling on the trees in patterns of sunlight and shadow. There seems to be a soft breeze playing with the reeds at the edge of the pond and the dandelions in the lawn. Dragonflies flit about above the pond; oh it is such a summer day! Yet Fall is lurking not far away…
I am wearing…
A dress with a rather interesting pattern of fuchsia and light pink circles and a black pattern intertwining and interweaving with those circles and a black cami, later I shall probably be wearing a black elbow length sweater also. My hair is in a ponytail and I am wearing silver dangly earrings.
I am listening to…
A soft background of piano music playing on the radio, the constant hum of the baby-monitor, and the occasional noise of one of the boys doing something. The house is relatively quiet this morning.
From the kitchen…
I am contemplating making some sort of treat in a little bit, something to share. I love sharing baked goodies! And it makes the house smell so nice, there is nothing better than warm baked goods fresh from the house filling the house with a delicious smells.
One of my favorite things…
Oooo coffeeeeeeeee!!! I know I have said it before, and I shall say it again, there is nothing better than a steaming cup of warm coffee in the morning, or in the afternoon for that matter…and even in the night time, in fact anytime!
I’m thinking…
There is something I think I should warn you of, never, I repeat, NEVER get into the habit of writing in third-person. It is addicting.
There is a writing site that I admit openly to being addicted to, where it is a universally used system to talk in the third-person. You simply put the star symbol (*) to show the you are briefly parting from first-person to third in your conversation. (this is for those who are unaccountably fond of words and like to go off into describing their reactions while the rest of the world simply adds a “smiley”)
That is how I became addicted to it. Now I am struggling not to use it so very much in my written conversations, because after a time you find yourself struggling not to go into a burst of third-person while texting or messaging people, the words *goes into super ninja attack mode!!!* Come most readily to your lips, er, fingers (well, perhaps not that exactly those words, they were just an example *goes off into a fit of snickering*) and of course the person you are talking to is like:
“r u crzy??? lol jk jk! bt srsly u dont get out mch do u? HAHA lol lol”
And I’m just like:
“*sniffs* *sticks up her nose* *Emily does not at all find your conversation intellectually satisfying, indeed, she finds your word choices in vocabulary most insipid; as she finds your spelling atrocious. She shall look elsewhere for more mind-invigorating cohorts to take part in her discussions.* *waltzes off*
Like, English snob! (…but they asked for it, right?)
Yes, fear the talking in third-person! FEAR! You can never go back, and you may have turned yourself into a monster that goes on rampages spitting out semi-colons and six-syllable words into the horizon! Fear…*nods*
A picture thought I’m sharing…
A drawing of a girl that I drew a couple days ago and thought I’d share!
